    I brought my old typewriter to my elementary classroom and there is always a long line of 4th grade poets, waiting to type.

      is this a reference to Eigner's 'typewriter calligraphy'?
      also, my friend gave me a metallic sort of ink-quill thingee.
      i've never used a typewriter.
